ANA BÁRBARA CABALLERO

Artist and photographer who builds images as a reflection of everything that happens behind the cameras (without the appearance of the photographer) from her travels around the world. Its characteristic element is a cube of mirrors, which appears with the photographs of abandonment and later in each location that it visits, which blends in with its surroundings or shows us what we cannot see as spectators.

She studied at the American University in Washington D.C. and started taking photography courses at the International Center of Photography while working in New York at Siegel & Gale. Subsequently, she moved to Miami where she studied photography for two years and graduated with honors from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 2002. Her work began with renowned American photographers in Miami and her passion for photography has led her to work on social projects. how to teach workshops by the organization Frederic Roberts Photography Workshops at MARCO. Her work has been exhibited in Parallel Spectra 2015, I Can Hear You in 2018, Reflective Operation in 2018 and Rashomon Effect in 2018 and Rashomon Effect 2.0 in 2019.

She currently lives and works in San Pedro Garza García
