Portomaggiore, Italia, 1976.
He attended the Dosso Dossi art institute obtaining the art teacher diploma. His works are made with porcelain, acrylic, scratches and metal inserts. Mingozzi's work chooses photographic collection as the conceptual basis, the patient collection of images, mainly in black and white, captured by the bourgeois universe of the last century in its beginnings. They are the bodies and faces of people who have now disappeared, glances of puritanical and neo-Gothic severity such as the age that saw them involuntary protagonists of the passions contained in one of the most demanding social disciplines. But the poetic tone of this selection is dominated by melancholy, by the idea of death and the anxieties it generates in faces and flesh.
His work has been exhibited in multiple cities, such as Turin, Bologna, Paris, Modena, Monaco, Rimini, as well as at international art fairs such as Zsona MACO, Photo Basel, Rimini Design Biennale and the MIA Photography Fair in Milan, among others.
He currently lives and work in Cesena, Italy
